Hi, I’m Stephanie: a stay-at-home-mom of 3 (with #4 on the way) and wife to a crazy funny, nerdy husband.
I would like to help you “get back to your roots” in the now ever growing health & wellness world by offering my knowledge of what it takes to thrive.
My “superpower” is researching interests, questions, remedies, etc. However, regurgitating the information is what I need to work on (a big reason why I started this blog!) so that I can share what I have learned with my family, friends and you!
I’m no expert, but having my own “rough and ready” wellness journey for over the past 9 years has helped prepare me to share all my knowledge nuggets with you. The great thing about this journey of mine is that I have so many stepping stones and continue to learn everyday. Probably the largest amount of this healthy life knowledge has really developed in the past 5 or 6 years since I started have kids–they change your life!
Here’s an interesting list of things you might like to know about me:
- I have lived in the Pacific Northwest, backwoods of the Appalachian Mountains, the high plains of Mexico, the English countryside, and the Front Range of Colorado
- I studied photography at school and am an amateur photographer
- I enjoy doing at home workouts or programs
- Cooking recipes from scratch is a hobby, the more authentic the better
- When it comes to my insecurities I take the Scarlett O’Hara approach–“I won’t think about that today, I’ll think about that tomorrow” (I definitely need to work on this!)
- Watching or listening to ASMR videos relaxes me
- Quality family time is very important to me–we love to play games and watch movies
- Hubby and I are high school sweethearts
- A daily struggle of mine and a constant “New Year’s Resolution”: TIME MANAGEMENT
- A joint dream of hubby and I is to homestead and travel
